New Student Visa Application

Students applying to TATIUC will be required to apply through EMGS. EMGS is the only approved gateway for students who want to study in Malaysia. Please seek our assistance before applying your Student Visa.

If you are in Malaysia as a tourist (holding a social pass), you will be required to exit the country before you apply for a student pass. Once your Visa Approval Letter has been issued, you may make arrangements to travel to Malaysia as a student.

Documents Requirements
You will be required to submit the following documents when you are applying to study at a Private Higher Education Institution.
  • Offer letter from the institution
  • 2 passport size photographs with WHITE background (35mm x 45mm)
  • 1 Copy of the Passport with the pages which contain Personal Information (Data Page), observation pages (highlighting any name change, extension, change of passport) and all pages showing a Visa/Pass stamp along with any record of usage. (including special pass and/or exit stamp, where applicable). Your passport should be valid for at least 12 months from the expected date of entry.
  • A copy of your academic certificates
  • Pre-arrival Medical Examination Report from a registered clinic in your country (where available). Click here to learn more.
  • Personal bond form submitted by the Institution. The personal bond amount is set according to your country and paid to the institution as a security bond.
  • No Objection Certificate (NOC) or Letter of Eligibility for students from Iran and Sudan only.
